Derry Court
A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court charged with criminal damage after breaking a window in a B&B he was staying in.
Conor Duff (28) of no fixed abode was arrested on March 1 after police were called by a member of staff in the B&B who had heard a loud bang and spotted the Duff outside with the window of the room he had been staying in smashed.
The staff member later identified Duff via CCTV.
When in police custody, Duff's behavior was said to be 'erratic' and he was deemed unfit to be interviewed.
Defence solicitor Seamus Quigley said that Duff had no record and 'simply wouldn't engage' with anyone while in custody, refusing to come out of his cell.
