Isobel Veronica (Vera) Armour (née Averill), 31 Main Street, Tobermore

The death has occurred of the late Isobel Veronica (Vera) Armour (née Averill), March 2 2026, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, surrounded by her loving Daughters, Isobel Veronica (Vera, aged 95 years), dearly loved Wife of the late Billy, 31 Main Street, Tobermore, loved and adored Mother of Elizabeth, Ann and Gloria, loved Mother-in-Law of Henry, Colin and Charlie, precious Grandmother of Nicholas, Rebecca and Andrew, Great Grandmother of William and Zoe and dearest Sister of Prudence, Norman and the late Annie, Harry, Jean, Rachel, Violet and Sadie. All welcome at her Daughter Gloria's home, 3 Draperstown Road, Tobermore on Wednesday (March 4) from 1:30pm - 9:30pm. Funeral will take place from Gloria's home on Thursday, March 5 at 2:20pm, to Kilcronaghan Parish Church for service at 2:30pm (approx.)., followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Mary Bridget “Bridie” Boyle (née McClenaghan), 5a Strawmore Road, Draperstown

The death has taken place of the late Mary Bridget “Bridie” Boyle (née McClenaghan), peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on the March 1 2026, may she rest in peace. Late of 5a Strawmore Road, Draperstown, Co Derry. Beloved wife of John. Loving mother of Leo (Siobhan), Anne (Nigel), Maeve (Jack), Joan (Jim), Sean (Diane), Martin (Ashelene) and Patrick (Mary). Very much loved and will be sadly missed by her 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Leo and Agnes McClenaghan RIP, Claggan Road, Claudy. Dear sister of Eileen O’Kane, Leo McClenaghan and the late Anne Hegarty RIP. Wake at her son Martin’s home, 1 Strawmore Road, Draperstown, BT45 7JE. Funeral on Wednesday, March 4 2026, leaving her son’s home at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Saint Columba’s Church, Straw. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed live via the following link http://www.devlinmedia.tv/. Family flowers only please, donations if wished in memory of Bridie to Alzheimers Society c/o McLaughlin Funeral Directors. Our Lady of knock pray for her. Enquiries to McLaughlin Funeral Director’s 07747046084 / 07840052022.

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Stewart Gaston (Stewartie) Brownlow, February 28 2026x, (peacefully) at hospital, 68 Shellbridge Park, Coleraine. Treasured husband of Margaret (deceased) and Jean (a man twice blessed) Much loved father of Beth (Stephen), Linda (and the late Ronnie), Greg (Marie). Dear Step-dad to Cheryl, Martin and Stuart and devoted granda of Emma, Joanna, Jenny, Sasha, Leigh, Niall, Kofi, Clara Rose, Jack, Katie and Oscar and a dear great-granda, brother (of the Late Kenny), brother-in-law and friend. Service in Terrace Row Presbyterian Church on Thursday at 1.00pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Family and friends welcome to his home on Wednesday from 2.00pm to 4.00pm and 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Family flowers only please. May he rest in peace. Late of 6 Lackagh Park, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved husband of the late Rita RIP and loving father of Sean and the late baby Lisa. Son of the late Lily and Ned RIP and dear brother of Francie, Gerard and the late Eamon and Maureen RIP. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle. Wake at his late home 10.00am to 10.00pm on Wednesday, March 4. It is with regret we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Lily) McClelland, March 3 2026, (peacefully) at Brookmount Nursing Home, Coleraine, late of Greenaway Drive, Coleraine. daughter of the late Annie and Samuel, dear sister of the late William, Samuel, John, Mary, George, Annie and Jim. Loving aunt to four generations of nieces and nephews. Service in Murdock’s Funeral Home 2A Windsor Avenue, Coleraine on Friday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Jean McColgan (née Carlin), 31 Corrody Road, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Jean McColgan (née Carlin), March 2 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of John, loving mother of Damien, Sean, Darren, Jason, Samantha, Lisa and Paul, a devoted mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of Kevin, Billy and the late Myra. Jean will be reposing in her home, 31 Corrody Road, BT47 2EB. Funeral from there on Thursday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

 

Debbie Smyth, Portstewart

The death has taken place of the late Debbie Smyth, March 2 2026, peacefully at Pond Park Nursing Home, Lisburn (formerly of Garden Avenue, Portstewart), dearly beloved wife of the late George, much loved mother of Chris and the late Peter, mother-in-law of Maria, grandmother of Kelly, Sara, Laura and Rachel, great-grandmother of Oliver, Blake, Parker, Josh, Sophia, Leo and Arlo. Service of Thanksgiving in Wades Funeral Home on Friday at 11.00 am, followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
