Derek Canning, 22 Elmgrove, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Derek Canning, March 10 2026, peacefully, at Altnagelvin Hospital, after a long illness, (formerly of Carnhill), beloved husband of Genevieve, loving father of Peter, Carol and the late Deborah, dear father-in-law to Raymond and Bredge, devoted grandfather of Ann-Marie, Caroline, Keely and Adam and great-grandfather of Cory, Lauren, Eva and Mason, dear son of the late Earnest and Jean, cherished brother of the late Dorothy and Victor and a loving uncle to all his nephews and nieces. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Derek will be reposing at his home, 22 Elmgrove. Funeral leaving his home on Friday, March 13 at 9:20am to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. The death has taken place of Brian Deehan, March 10 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, late of Ivy Terrace, loving father of John Paul, Jmily, Brian and Odhran, devoted grandfather of Tiarnan, Luke, Brian, Conan, Oscar and Bosco and dear brother of Eileen, Isobel, Charles, Owen, Letitia and the late Kevin, Jackie and Jim. Bernadette (Bernie) Grieve, 14 Eastway Gardens, Derry
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernadette (Bernie) Grieve, peacefully at Oakleaves Care Centre on March 11 2026. Late of 14 Eastway Gardens.
