Ellen Jane (Helen) Wilson (née Chambers), 10 Ballyriff Road, Magherafelt 

Owen Hughes, 55 Bellshill Road, Castledawson

The death has taken place of the late Owen Hughes (Castledawson). March 16 2026, beloved husband of Rosaleen (Rosie) and much loved father of Jimmy, Aaron (Colleen) Shea and Shauna, son of the late Rosie and Seamus and brother of Pat, Anne, Margaret, Sinead and the late Seamus. Funeral from his home 55 Bellshill Road on Thursday, March 19 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St Patrick Castledawson via webcam St Patrick's Church, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St. John Milltown. St Faustina pray for him. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, mother-in-law Winnie Kelly, brothers -in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and wider family circle and great friends. Loved and missed always. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to Pulmonary Fibrosis C/O the family. Family time from 10.00pm to 12noon. The wake for Owen will commence at 12.00 noon on Tuesday, March 17 2026.

William (Spoon) Millar, 37 Cashel Hill, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of William (Spoon) Millar, March 16 2026, peacefully at Foyle Hospice. Beloved husband of the late Susan. Loving father of Kieran and William. Much loved grandfather of Susan, Seán, Shonagh, Avery, Savannah and Hudson. Father in law of Bernie. Beloved son of the late William and Bridget. Dear brother of Ann, Eileen, Kathleen, Bridget, Joe, Noel and the late John and Charlie. William will be reposing at his family home, 37 Cashel Hill. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10.40am to St Joseph's Church, Galliagh for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Family time please 10.00pm until 11.00am. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone who knew him. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Knock pray for him.

Colman Moore, 22 Carraig Bridge, Bridgend (Formerly of Derry) (Updated funeral arrangements)

The death has taken place of the late Colman Moore, March 12 2026, peacefully, after a long illness, at his home, 22 Carraig Bridge, Bridgend, surrounded by his loving family, (formerly of Glencaw, Galliagh), beloved husband of Patricia, loving father of Cara, Martin and Stephen, dear father-in-law to Ceva, devoted grandfather to Conrad, Erin, Joshua, Farrah, Darragh, Nyla, Aoife and the late baby Noah, cherished son of the late Tom and Mary, dear and loving brother of Tim and Una, brother-in-law of Ann and a caring uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Colman's wake will be held at his home on Tuesday, March 17 from 11:00am to 8:00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 18 in St. Aengus' Church, Burt. A private burial will follow in Burt Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.

Gordon David Wilkinson, 3 Bann View Place, Coleraine

The death has occurred of the late Gordon David Wilkinson, March 15 2026, peacefully at Causeway Hospital, 3 Bann View Place, Coleraine. Darling husband of Ruby, devoted daddy of Nicky and Roger, loving father-in-law of Julie and much loved papa of Henry and James. Also, dear brother of Alan and the late Billy and brother-in-law of John, Richard and Ronald. House strictly private. Service of Thanksgiving in First Dunboe Presbyterian Church on Wednesday at 2.00pm followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations, if wished, for the N.I. The death has taken place of Ellen Jane (Helen) Wilson (née Chambers), March 15 2026, (peacefully) at Milesian Manor Care Home, dearly beloved wife of the late Billy, 10 Ballyriff Road, Magherafelt, much loved and devoted mother of Yvonne, Joyce, David and Derek, dear mother-in-law of Will and Julie, loving granny of Steven, Jonathan, Andrew, Elaine, Leanne, Sarah, Louise, Stephanie, Claire and Rachel, also a cherished great-granny and dearest sister of John, Harold and the late Amy, Freda, Joyce, and Grenville. House strictly private. Family and Friends welcome at Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Tuesday evening (March 17) from 7:00pm – 8:30pm. Funeral service in Woodschapel Parish Church on Wednesday (March 18) at 2:00pm followed by a private committal in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Marriott House Patients Comfort Fund and The Radiotherapy Department, City Hospital, Belfast payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service (Donation’s A/c).
