Country star Nathan Carter is one of five big names set to grace the stage in Dungiven over the festival weekend.
When Dungiven businessman Stephen Kealey ran a Tractor Pull event in 2024 he quickly saw the potential of this relatively fledgling sport in this country becoming a great family day out.
The immediate move was to go bigger and better and to turn this into a major event and so approximately 10,000 people descended upon Dungiven last July for the Revvv It Up Festival.
The subsequent months have seen a flurry of activity to add to this year’s attractions and to increase interest in the sport of Tractor Pulling from further afield.
The latter was achieved relatively early, such was the enthusiasm from all who had attended previously and competitors from all over England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland have signed up for this July.
The event will run from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19.
Indeed, such has been the demand that as you read this extra tracks are being constructed.

But it’s not all about Tractor Pulling as a plethora of kids’ activities have been lined up with, if rumours are to be believed, that scary dinosaur returning along with various Superheroes and even a Tribute to Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter.
And it doesn’t stop there as Celebrity Chef Ian Orr has been drafted in to lay on Cookery Demonstrations. Ian is the head honcho of the much acclaimed Brown’s Restaurants and as part of his various slots he’s also going to include a special Kids’ Cookery Special.
Perhaps the most remarkable achievement in this year’s line-up though is the fact that Revvv It up will feature the country’s top five Country acts of Claudia Buckley, Lisa McHugh, Derek Ryan, Cliona Hagan and Nathan Carter.
A special monster stage is bring drafted in and all those who attend the daytime activities will be able to stay on and enjoy these acts with a fireworks display to conclude the activities.
Throughout the three days there’ll be a Music Marquee featuring The Goodfellas, Cellar Door, Hitmen and Her, Atomic, Fiddler Adam, The Untouchables and DJ Sets.
And not forgetting the hugely popular lawnmower racing, giant kites, food wagons, novelty stands ’n’ stalls, duck herding, Revvv It Up merchandise and licensed bar.
The event, which takes place at Ballyguddin Road, Dungiven, BT47 4RJ, is also supporting the charities R.N.I.B. and Pulmonary Fibrosis.
