Sinn Féin councillor Emma McGinley condemns 'scenes of disorder' in Creggan on Easter Monday.

"Scenes of disorder in Creggan on Easter Monday" have been condemned by Sinn Féin councillor Emma McGinley.
Cllr McGinley said: "Easter is a special time for Republicans as we remember the Rising of 1916 and the men and women who have advanced the struggle towards Irish Unity.
"Everyone has the right to commemorate and remember the dead, in a respectful way. The organisers of today's event applied to the Parades Commission and are accountable for what took place," she added.
"Scenes of young people, masked and posing for photos with petrol bombs while standing on graves in the cemetery, the torching of a local persons car and attacking a local community centre do not belong in Republicanism.
"I challenge the organisers of today's event to call out this anti community behaviour. Creggan is not a playground for this type of activity and the cemetery should be treated with decency and respect.
"Those involved need to catch themselves on and leave our community alone."
