Two arrests have been made and suspected Class A controlled drugs have been seized by officers while on patrol in the Waterside in Derry yesterday evening, 20 April.
Officers from the District Support Team were on patrol in Strathfoyle when, at around 5.15pm, they observed a parked van on Port Road. After speaking with the two men inside the vehicle, officers searched the vehicle and seized a quantity of suspected cocaine.

Both men, aged 33 and 37 years old, were subsequently arrested on suspicion of offences, including Possession of a Class A controlled drug, and they both remain in custody at this time.
Police appeal to anyone with any information about suspected drug dealing in their area to report it to police on the non-emergency number 101.
