Dementia NI has announced that leading Co Derry construction company Henry Brothers has chosen the organisation as its official Charity Partner for its milestone 50th anniversary year.
This partnership will see Henry Brothers and Dementia NI work collaboratively to raise vital funds and awareness, supporting and empowering people living with dementia across Northern Ireland.
Under the shared theme, “Building Hope. Driving Positive Change”, the partnership aims to challenge the stigma surrounding dementia while amplifying the voices of those living with the condition. Together, they will promote the message that, with the right support at the right time, people can continue to live well following a diagnosis.
The partnership comes at a significant time for both organisations. As Henry Brothers celebrates five decades in business, Dementia NI is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the launch of its ambitious five-year strategy. This strategy focuses on expanding the charity’s reach, strengthening member empowerment, and driving positive change for people living with dementia across Northern Ireland.
Founded in 2015 by five individuals living with dementia, Dementia NI is a unique, member-led charity that works directly with people following a diagnosis. Through peer-led Empowerment Groups, members are supported to raise awareness, influence services and policy, and advocate for improved support, helping ensure that everyone can live well with dementia.
