Down Memory Lane: Derry faces making the Derry News (2002)

Councillor Shaun Gallagher, chairman Environmental Services Committee, Derry City Council, is presented a letter of complaint, about the litter problem in the area, from P3 pupils at St. Brigid's Primary School. During a Local History and Environmental Project, the pupils, and their teachers, were suprised at the amount of litter in some parts of the Shantallow area. Included are Councillor Willie O'Connell, Martin Toland, sudent teacher, and, from right, Noeleen O'Donnell and Maureen Sheerin.
