New play area surface to be installed at Derry's Jon Clifford Bull Park

New surface is to be installed at the Jon Clifford Bull Park play area.

News from Derry City and Strabane District Council that the surface in the play park at Jon Clifford -Bull Park is to be renewed by the end of the month has been welcomed by Sinn Fein councillor for the area, Patricia Logue.

The work will include some paint upgrade.

Councillor Logue said “It's welcome news from the council that they are going to renew the surface in the play park at Jon Clifford Bull Park by the end of the month.

“It also hoped that painting work will take place at the park.

“The local community campaigned and lobbied hard for many years for this popular park to be redeveloped.”

Cllr Logue concluded “This is a great facility right in the heart of the area with the children’s play park being central to that. It’s widely used by local families so   it's important that it's  kept in good condition.”
