Ciara Ferguson (Sinn Féin)
Strabane woman Ciara Ferguson was co-opted as an MLA for Foyle to replace the outgoing Martina Anderson following the same internal review that ousted Karen Mullan.
Having worked as a community worker for over 20 years, she has also been involved in social survey research for the last decade.
She, like her colleague Padraig Delargy, will be facing into their first election at any level within politics, having not served as a councillor previously.
