William James (Billy) McCauley, 77 Brae Head Road, Nixon’s Corner

The death has taken place of William James (Billy) McCauley, 17th November 2022, (peacefully) at Foyle Hospice. Dearly beloved partner of Sadie, a much-loved brother of John, Margaret, Pat and the late Mary and Kathleen. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, 21st November 2022 in St. Columba’s Longtower at 10.00am followed by burial in The City Cemetery. Family time only please between 9pm and 12 noon at the family Home 77 Brae Head Road, Nixon’s Corner. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished in lieu of flowers to WH&SCT Ward 6, Cash Office, Altnagelvin Hospital, Glenshane Road, BT47 6SB or Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, BT48 8JE. Billy will be sadly missed by his entire family circle and friends.

Gwyneth May McCorkell, 67 Baranailt Road, Limavady
 

The death has occurred of Gwyneth May McCorkell, (peacefully) passed away at her late home, 67 Baranailt Road, Limavady. Much loved wife of the late Jack, Dear sister of the late Margo, Mavis and Raymond, also a devoted aunt and great aunt. Funeral service in her late home on Saturday at 11.00am followed by burial in Limavady Reformed Presbyterian Church yard at 12noon. Friends and family welcome at her late home. Family flowers only please donations if desired and cheques payable to Cancer Research and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind Est., Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her entire family circle.

Simon Jonathan McElwee, Roemill Gardens, Limavady

The death has taken place of Simon Jonathan McElwee, 16th November 2022, (suddenly) passed away at his own home in Roemill Gardens, Limavady. Much loved son of the late Dorothy, loving brother of Tanya, dear brother in law of Derek, uncle of Danielle, kimberly, Ashley and Andrew. Funeral will be leaving Browns Funeral Home on Saturday at 1.20pm for service in Christ Church at 2.00pm followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please donations if desired and cheques payable to Royal British Legion and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind. Est., Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his entire family circle.

Joy McMenamin (née McGettigan), 111 Glenowen Park, Derry

The death has occurred of Joy Mc Menamin (née McGettigan), 16th November 2022, (suddenly) at her home, 111 Glenowen Park. Beloved partner of Hugo Bonner, Loving Mother of Ashleen, John and Aimee. Much loved grandmother of Matthew, Megan, Adam, Rebecca, Sean, Harrie and Cillian, mother in law of AJ Schenning. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Sadie, dear sister of Michael, Marie, Norman and Anne. At the request of Joy, House and wake strictly private. Those wishing to pay their respects are more than welcome to Joy's Requiem Mass. Funeral leaving her home on Friday at 11.50am to St Eugene's Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all her family and everyone that knew her. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on her soul. Our lady of knock pray for her.

Donal McMullan, Craigavole, Swatragh

The death has taken place of Donal McMullan (Craigavole), 15th November 2022, beloved father of Ciarán and Clodagh, loving son of Kathleen and the late James and dear brother of Mary (O’Kane), Patrick, Malachy, Susan (McAlister) and the late Ciarán. Funeral from his mothers home, 115 Grove Road, Craigavole, Swatragh on Saturday, 19th November at 9.40am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church Craigavole, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his son, daughter, mother, brothers, sisters, sisters in law Amanda, Caroline, brothers in law Owen, James, nephews, nieces, Lorna and the extended family and friends. Family time from 9.00pm to 12.00noon. House strictly private on the morning of the funeral.

Margaret Morris (née Walker), 1 Carrickreagh Gardens, Derry

The death has taken place of Margaret Morris (née Walker), 16th November 2022, (suddenly) at her home, 1 Carrickreagh Gardens, MARGARET, beloved wife of Neil, loving mother of Kaylaigh, Naomi and Nicole, devoted grandmother of Lily, Jack, Lottie, and step-grandmother to Shannon. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle and friends. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday at 9.20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.30pm to 11.00am. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.

James Gerard Mullan, 5 Inglewood Ave, Coleraine

The death has taken place of James Gerard Mullan, Coleraine and Portstewart (formerly Ballerin), 15th November 2022, (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband of the late Eileen, and loving father of Gerardette, Damian, Paul and Charlie (CP) and devoted grandfather of Aaron, Conor, Caitlin, Teegan and John. Funeral cortege from his home, 5 Inglewood Ave, Coleraine, BT52 1JY, on Friday, 18th November at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart. Interment afterwards in Agherton Cemetery, Portstewart. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of Northern Ireland Hospice. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.Deeply regretted by sorrowing daughter, sons, son-in-law Colin, daughters-in-law Tina, Elaine and Katie, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and family circle. St Joseph, pray for him.

Noel O'Hara, Derry

The death hast taken place of Noel O'Hara, 16th November 2022, loving father of Conor, Canice and Shauna, father-in-law of Ciara, Elaine and Jack, devoted grandfather of Katie, Ciaran, Tom, Alex, Finn and Thea, partner of Francis Donnelly, son of the late Fred and Kathleen O'Hara (Killywool) and dear brother of Marie, Margaret and Bernadette. Sadly missed by all his extended family and friends. Noel's wake will commence in his son Canice's home, 94 Highmoor Road, BT47 3HR on Thursday at 2.30pm. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.30am for 10o'clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Limavady. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
