Brandywell players celebrate with the Gilfillan Cup.
Brandywell Harps 2
Creggan Swifts 1
Darren McFadden came off the bench to score two spectacular free kicks to win this year's Gilfillan Cup for Brandywell Harps.
The striker was deadly accurate from two free kicks, each almost identical, as Harps came from behind to lift the trophy in dramatic fashion.
Neither team could be separated in a poor first half at Wilton Park, but the game sprang into life on the hour when PJ Ward gave Creggan the lead from the penalty spot.
Brandywell's response was to bring McFadden on from the bench and he made quite the impact, winning a free kick on the right side of the penalty area and finding the top left corner within 10 minutes to make it 1-1.
The game was headed to extra time but McFadden did it again with just 30 seconds of normal time remaining. Brandywell won another free kick in the same area, but this time further out. That didn't stop McFadden however, who again found the top corner to the delight to those in Brandywell colours, with little time left for Creggan Swifts to respond.
