Donegal All-Ireland winner Mark McHugh and his fiancée Aisling Gormley tied the knot on New Year’s Eve.

A part of the Donegal team that won the All-Ireland title in 2012, Mark also picked up an All-Star and still lines out for his local club Kilcar, with whom he won the 2017 Donegal SFC. He is now part of the backroom team with the Roscommon senior footballers.

Aisling is a schoolteacher at Niall Mór National School in Killybegs and together the couple have three children - Noah, who turns six this month; two-year-old Ivy and Finn, who was born last April.

Their reception took place at the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny, where they danced the night away and brought in the New Year with family and friends.
