Patricia Melly, Bundoran

The death has occurred of Patricia Melly, 51 Gaelic Park Drive, Bundoran and late of Finner Rd, Bundoran. She passed away peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. 

Beloved daughter of the late Jim and Kathleen Melly, and sister of the late Gerard. Patricia will be sadly missed by all the Melly and Campbell families, and all her relatives, neighbours, friends and carers.

Reposing at Breslin’s Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran F94E92F on Sunday, January 15, from 5pm to 8pm for relatives, neighbours and friends to call. Removal from Breslin’s Funeral Home on Monday, January 16 at 10.30am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards Finner Cemetery, Bundoran.

Patrick Colhoun, The Green, Kinnycally, St Johnston 

The death has occurred of Patrick Colhoun, The Green, Kinnycally, St Johnston. Lovingly missed by his sisters and brother Kathleen, Annette, Sharon and Henry, sadly missed by Justin and Jemma, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Patrick was predeceased by his parents Frances and Daniel, sisters and brothers Fionnuala, Bernadette, William-Gerard and Michael and nephew Jonathan may they all rest in peace.

Deep are the memories, Precious they stay; No passing of time, Will take them away.

Patrick will be reposing at his late residence The Green, Kinnycally, St Johnston on Saturday.

Funeral leaving his late residence on Sunday morning at 10.30am going to St Baithin’s Church, St Johnston for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the Old  cemetery.

Dan McNicholl, Carndonagh

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Dan McNicholl, Malin Road, Carndonagh.

Remains reposing at his home.

Funeral from there on Sunday at 10.30am going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for Mass at 11am.

Removal after service back to his late residence to repose overnight.

Leaving there on Monday at 11am going to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for Cremation at 3pm.

House private please on Friday and after the Funeral Mass on Sunday.

Margaret Deeny, Stranorlar

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Margaret Denny, 89 Ard Mc Cool, Stranorlar, and formerly of Dreenan. Beloved wife of the late Seamus and much-loved mother of daughters, Mary, Ann, Teasy, Sinead, sons Terence and Martin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons in law, Jerome, Charlie and Seamus, grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey, on Saturday, January 14 from 6pm until rosary at 9pm. Funeral leaving from there on Sunday, January 15 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate Stranorlar at 11am. Interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery. Margaret McGrory, Buncrana

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Margaret McGrory, Sharagore, Linsfort, Buncrana, F93 W3P0. Margaret will repose at her residence from 11am on Saturday, January 13. House private please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral leaving there on Monday, January 16 at 10.30am going to the Star of the Sea Church, Dessertegney for 11am Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Letterkenny University Hospital C/O Any family member or Porter Funeral Directors.

Sheena Farrell, Letterkenny and Ballintra

The death has occurred of Sheena Farrell, 32 Hawthorn Heights, Letterkenny and formally of Lower Main Street Ballintra.
Predeceased by parents John and Ruby Farrell.
Deeply regretted by loving partner Ivan Black Ardahee, Newmills, Letterkenny. Fondly remembered by sister Elaine and husband Simon, nephews Charlie and Theo (London).
Sadly missed and dearly loved by her extended family and friends.
Sheena’s remains will repose in Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny F92 XE35 on Saturday, January 14 from 6pm to 7.50pm, followed by a service of thanksgiving for the life of Sheena at 8pm. Funeral from there on Sunday afternoon going to Lakelands Crematorium,  Cavan for Cremation at 3pm.

Vera Gilmartin, Luton, Cork and Clonmany

The death has occurred at Mercy University Hospital, Cork of Vera Gilmartin Nee Kerr, Luton, Cork and formerly of Letter, Urris, Clonmany.

Her remains will be arriving at St Michael’s Church, Urris on Sunday, January 15 at approximately 4.30pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am with interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has taken place of Bridget Price, nee Watson, 466 Killea Cottages. Beloved wife of the late George, dear sister of Dolly and Katie.

The death has taken place in Dungloe Community Hospital of Brigid Harkin, Meenagall, Dunlewey, formerly of 24 Beechwood Road, Letterkenny.

Her remains are reposing at her home. Rosary nightly at 8pm. House private after rosary until 11am.

The death has occurred in Dungloe District Hospital of Connie Boyle, Chapel Road, Dungloe.

His remains will be repose in McGlynn’s Funeral Home, Dungloe on Saturday from 12noon. Removal on Saturday at 6pm going to St Crona’s Church, Dungloe for 6.30pm to repose overnight.

James McVicker, Convoy

The sudden death has taken place, at Sligo University Hospital, of James McVicker, 1 Deele View Parrk, Convoy. Much loved husband of Ann, beloved brother of Geraldine and Isobel. James will be deeply missed by his wider family circle, his work colleagues and friends. His remains are reposing at Terence McClintock’s funeral home, Ballyboe, Convoy, from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday.

Margaret McMonagle, Quigley’s Point

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Margaret McMonagle, Carnbrae, Quigley’s Point.

Margaret’s remains will repose at Liam Collin’s funeral premises, Culdaff F93 HE03 on Friday, January 13, where you may pay your respects from 3pm to 6pm. Removal via Quigley’s Point to St Columba's Church Drung to arrive at 7pm, reposing overnight.

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 14 at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Teresa Leeper, Ballybofey

The tragic death has occurred of Teresa Leeper on December 15 in Birmingham.

Teresa will be sadly missed by her loving husband Joe, daughters Caroline and Sharon and son Martin, sons-in- law, daughter- in- law, sisters Bernadette and Rosaleen, brothers-in-law, her adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Teresa’s remains will be received into our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Yardley Wood, Birmingham on Monday, January 23 at 6pm to repose overnight.

Ursula McGroarty, Ballintra

The death has occurred peacefully at Aras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home of Ursula Mc Groarty (née Ma Grath), Tubbernahorey, Ballintra.

She will be sadly missed by her sons Paul ,Jude,Terry,Barry and Brian; her adored grandchildren, Billy, Curtis, Craig, Micky, Tia, Grace, Ciara, Tj and great-grandson Luke; partners and wives.

Her remains reposing at the family home Tubbernahorey Ballintra on Saturday from 3pm until 10pm. House private at all other times, please.

Ned Burke, Monaghan, Cork and Ballyshannon

The death has occurred peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family, of Edmond (Ned) Burke, Foremass, Scotstown, County Monaghan and formerly of Ballyshannon and Watergrasshill, County Cork. 

Predeceased by his cherished daughter Rosemarie, he will be sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Marie, sons Patrick and Finbarr, daughter Margaret, daughter-in-law Trish, son-in-law Mick, grandsons Rory, Malachi and Liam, brother James and sister Mary (Birmingham), relatives, friends and neighbours.

Edmond's remains will repose at his home on Friday with the house private to family only please.

The death has occurred of Sophia Gallagher (née Ferry), Killult, Falcarragh, Donegal in the loving care of Lakehouse Nursing Unit.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband John (John Húdaí), her brother and sisters. Sadly missed by her children Hugh, Máire and Caitlín, their spouses, her grandchildren, relatives, friends and kind neighbours.

The death has occurred of Christopher Lowther, Mountcharles.

Removal from there on Saturday, going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

The death has occurred of Patrick Molloy, London and formerly of Meenanall, Glenties.

Predeceased by his parents Denis and Annie Molloy. Beloved husband of Jean, and a much loved father of sons Patrick and David and daughter-in-law Amy. He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Jacob, Tadhg and Fionn.

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of Mary Teresa Mc Ginty (éWalsh) of Cabra-Glebe, Churchill.

Wife of the late Danny McGlinchey, dear mother of Rita and Susan, much loved grandmother of Emily, Amy, Stephan, Fiona and Lisa.

Her remains are reposing at McLaughlin’s funeral home, Buncrana with viewing from 2pm to 4pm on Thursday and Friday.

Removal from there on Friday at 4pm going to her residence.

Jacqueline Queen, Ballintra and Glasgow

The death has occurred of Jacqueline (Jackie) Queen (née Harron), Main Street, Ballintra and late of Cambuslang, Glasgow.

She passed away peacefully, in her Glasgow home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, January 4.

Predeceased by her parents Johnny and Annie Harron and her brother, Billy. Sadly missed by her partner Colin, daughters Carol, Laura and Julie, her grandchildren and great-grandchild, her sister, Elizabeth, brother-in-law Robert, nieces Diane, Cheryl, and Lauren and nephew Kyle (Ballybofey).
