All smiles from Rory Kavanagh claiming a catch in the crowd in Cardiff as Ireland took on Wales

When Rory Kavanagh was knocking around midfield for Donegal along with Neil Gallagher when they won the 2012 All-Ireland title, the pair were well able to field high balls.

Kavanagh retired from inter-county football in 2016 and played on with St Eunan's until 2019 and now manages the Letterkenny side.

During this afternoon's Six Nations opener at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Kavanagh proved he hasn't lost any of the old magic when claiming a ball which flew into the crowd.

Kavanagh is in Cardiff for the weekend with his wife Kathyrn, sister Alma and brother-in-law Seamus Curran and saw Ireland get their campaign off to a winning start with a 34-10 win over Wales.
