Tyrone man faces trial over Milford assault

A book of evidence will be served on the 56-year-old man later this year

Bid to address Donegal's 'unmanageable' court list

A County Tyrone man is to stand trial following an incident in Milford last year.

Eamon Lynch, a 56-year-old from Primrose Park in Sion Mills has been charged in connection with an incident at Radharc Na Cille, Milford.

Lynch is charged with affray on February 3, 2022.

Lynch is also charged with assault and with the production of an article during the course of a dispute.

Sergeant Gerard Dalton told Letterkenny District Court that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has directed that Lynch be prosecuted on indictment.

Legal aid was granted to solicitor Mr Kieran O’Gorman.

Judge Éiteáin Cunningham adjourned the matter until May 8 when a book of evidence will be served on Lynch.
