Letterkenny Rovers are to illuminate the main grass pitch at their Leckview Park home.
Planning permission has been sought by the club this week.
An application, in the name of Letterkenny Rovers chairperson Dessie Kelly and secretary Eric White, was lodged this week with Donegal County Council.
Letterkenny Rovers are seeking for the go-ahead for the erection of four 18-metre high floodlights to the perimeter of the existing grass pitch.
The planning application also caters for all associated site works.
The move is Rovers' latest addition to Leckview Park having recently opened a new astro turf pitch at the facility.
