Letterkenny restaurant, Burrito Loco, was awarded the silver medal at the ninth annual Just Eat Awards at an event which took place at Dublin’s iconic Mansion House last night.
The awards, which celebrate and recognise Ireland’s favourite restaurants and takeaways, was hosted by TV presenter and podcaster, Muireann O’Connell.
A total of one hundred and fifty restaurants were nominated under sixteen categories, with shortlisted representatives from all over the country in attendance at the glamorous black-tie event.
Over 35,000 votes were cast for local and independent takeaways across Ireland in recent weeks. The ceremony saw a delectable array of restaurants commended for their hard work and dedication to delivering the highest standard of service and delicious food.
Despite the stiff competition in the Best of Ulster category, Burrito Loco were awarded the silver medal, recognising them as one of the best restaurants in Ulster.
Located on Port Road in Letterkenny, Burrito Loco is regarded among local customers as one of the finest Mexican restaurants in town, serving an array of dishes including burritos, crispy tacos, loaded nachos, and delicious salad boxes. Burrito Loco has been spicing things up since 2012 and are no strangers to winning an award having been named the Best Takeaway in Ireland in the 2017 Just Eat Takeaway Awards.
