Letterkenny Gardai seized the car, which had no valid tax, insurance or NCT and was being driven by a learner driver

Uninsured learner driver faces court date

An uninsured learner driver to face a court date after being apprehended in Letterkenny.

In the early hours of Wednesday, officers from Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit stopped a car.

The vehicle was being driven by an unaccompanied learner driver.

The car was not taxed, insured nor did it have a valid NCT.

“The car was seized and court proceedings will follow,” a Garda spokesperson said.
