Tractor run to aid Castletown NS playground plans

A tractor run will be held next month to go towards the development of a new playground at Castletown National School in St Johnston

A fundraising tractor run next month will help raise funds for the development of a new playground at Castletown National School.

The St Johnston school, with a roll number of 57 this year, has been ambitiously developing in recent years.

The three-teacher Green Flag school is looking ahead to the next phase of its progress.

Plans are in place to develop a new playground for the school.

On April 30, 2023, a tractor run will raise some funds to add pace to those aims.

Tractors will leave the Old Creamery at Taughboyne, St Johnston at 1pm with registration from 11am.

There is en entry charge of €20 per tractor. Refreshments will be provided at the end of the run with a prize draw being held on the day for entrants.
