Rossnowlagh’s newest resident Phoebe the donkey stopped off at Finnegan’s Shop and Post Office on Tuesday to meet her new neighbours.
Her owner Fiona Fitzpatrick, a singer songwriter from the band The Messages, has had her beloved pet donkey since childhood.
Shop owner Susan Finnegan who took the photo said: "Fiona is originally from Cavan and she lives in the wee thatched cottage across the road from us.
"She moved the donkey here a week ago from Cavan and she has been taking her for walks in the area."
Pheobe certainly seems to be settling in well and is getting a warm welcome from her Rossnowlagh neighbours.
