Renowned for highly entertaining productions, Leghowney Drama's latest offering is the Sam Cree three-act classic, Don't Tell The Wife.
The play will run in Leghowney Hall for five nights starting on Sunday, March 12 and continuing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, March 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start. Admission is €10 with family concessions. The play is run with the kind permission of the Drama League of Ireland.
A spokesperson said: "The Leghowney Drama Group have been rehearsing for this much-loved comedy since the start of January to insure not a drop of comedy magic will be missed from this seasoned amateur Dramatic Group which is now in its 86th year of productions.
"The action of Don’ Tell the Wife takes place in the home of Bobbie and Edna Willis in Belfast in the 1960s. Mrs Willis' conviction that her husband, a plumber and about to turn 50 is chasing other women, leads to hilarious misunderstandings.
"This particular play was last performed by Leghowney Drama Group in 2009. Some of the faces may have changed but one thing you can be guaranteed is a great night of fun and laughter."
