A search oepration will commence on Sunday morning for a Kilcar man who is missing in Cavan.
Gardai are seeking the public's assistance on the whereabouts of 22-year-old Eric Byrne.
Eric is described as being approximately 5 foot 11 inches in height and of a slim build. He has short brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a light blue jacket, blue ‘Snickers’ brand work trousers and black work boots.
Eric is believed to have been in the Lavey area of Cavan at approximately 3:30am in the early hours of Saturday morning. Gardaí and Eric’s family are concerned for his welfare.
Following an incident at Lavey lake, Eric went missing. A search has been arranged by An Garda Síochana and will commence on Sunday morning at 9am from the Lavey Inn.
