Locals came together to view the Ireland v England Rugby match at Tawnawilly Community Centre. Young and old enjoyed themselves with music, dance and food.
The community has also been busy with a big community cleanup which took place on Sunday last.
A spokesperson said: “All roads around the area and leading into it are now litter free. The enthusiastic pickers went to the main road and up to the Wood Bray as well as Corveen and out the back road to Biddy’s.
“15 bags of rubbish were collected.
“Everyone was treated to tea and lovely home baking on return to the Centre.
“A big thank you to everyone involved, and to the council for providing pickers, gloves, bags and high viz vests.
