A feast of fun and creativity at the Central Hotel’s Easter Craft Festival

The hotel has won the Best Family Hotel in the prestigious Irish Hotel Awards

There was huge 'eggcitement' in the newly refurbished Central Hotel and Leisure Centre in Donegal Town on Saturday as children throughout the communities in the County joined in for the annual Kid's Easter Craft Festival. Photographer Siobhan McGowan popped in to capture some of the fun on camera.

Having been awarded Best Family Hotel from  the prestigious Irish Hotel Awards, it was such a joy for the Central Team to host families during Easter season.

In the beautifully appointed Donegal Bayview Ballroom, children and parents were greeted by Mickey and Minnie Mouse. There was a wide variety of tables with arts and crafts, competitions, giant board games, face painting and mini disco as well as Easter treats for children on farewell.

General Manager Breda Haden was overwhelmed with the huge turnout and positive response towards the family day.

She said: "It was such a delight to host and I'm continually proud of my team here at the Central Hotel who go over and beyond to ensure that we offer the very best hospitality towards families in our communities."
