'Considerable damage' cause to parked car in Letterkenny hit and run

Gardaí are gathering and viewing all available CCTV in relation to the incident. The driver of the car in question left the scene after the damage had been caused

'Considerable damage' cause to parked car in Letterkenny  hit and run

Gardaí are investigating a hit and run collision that occurred at Port View Business Park on the Cullion Road, Letterkenny on Saturday, April 22, at approximately 11.45am.

They are interested in receiving dash cam footage from around that area between 11.30am and midday. A car was parked at that location and considerable damage was caused to it by another vehicle, possibly a black Vauxhall partial registration ‘152 DL’.

Gardaí are gathering and viewing all available CCTV in relation to the incident. The driver of the car in question left the scene after the damage had been caused.

"We ask the driver in question to come forward and speak with Gardaí in Letterkenny in relation to the incident," said a Garda spokesperon. "If anybody witnessed what occurred then we ask them to make contact with us. Gardaí may be contacted in Letterkenny on 074-9167100."
