There was much excitement in Donegal Town over the weekend at news that actor and comedian Bob Odenkirk was in town.
Local photographer Christina Irwin bumped into him at Donegal Castle and was happy to oblige when he asked her for directions to the town's Bank Walk.
The US actor is best known for playing lawyer Saul Goodman on Breaking Bad and in the spin-off show Better Call Saul. His movie roles include playing the father of the March sisters in Little Women.
And according to his Twitter bio, he is an ‘annoying Dad in actual reality!’
Odenkirk is also an esteemed film maker, and is credited with writing several episodes of The Simpsons.
He has been spotted in a number of places around the country over the last week, and is enjoying the natural amenities as well as getting a flavour of Ireland's history and heritage.
