Donegal Town pay tribute to Paul McHugh on retirement from An Garda Siochana

Donegal Town FC have shown their appreciation to Paul McHugh, who has retired from An Garda Siochana following 40 years service.

“We were delighted to present Paul McHugh with an appreciation award from everyone at DTFC for his 40 years of service in the frontline and for his years of devotion to our club,” the club posted. “Paul dedicated 40 years of keeping the communities of Donegal safe as a Garda/Detective while also balancing this with hours of voluntary coaching and work at DTFC.

“A former League of Ireland CB, we are forever indebted to Paul’s commitment and dedication to our club. We wish him a very happy and healthy retirement!”
