Donegal Hospice
A special service to remember all those who passed away while under Hospice care will be held on Sunday June 11 at 3pm.
The Remembrance Service will take place in the Irish Martyrs Church, Ballyraine.
The service has not been held since the outbreak of the pandemic. All family and friends of those people who passed away while under Hospice care are invited to attend the service to remember their loved ones.
Meanwhile, Donegal Hospice are hosting a number of fundraising events during the month of June. Dine and Dance takes place in the Mount Errigal Hotel on June 23 at 7pm. The event will mark two decades of the Hospice building. The hospice facility was opened here in February 2003 and this year marks its 20th anniversary.
Tickets are available from The Mount Errigal Hotel, and include a drinks reception, a five-course meal, band and DJ. Tickets are priced at €60 with proceeds going to the Donegal Hospice.
The Jive for June fundraiser is ongoing and people are urged to send videos of their dancing to the Donegal Hospice Facebook page.
