In what will undoubtedly be a good news story for many travellers, Expressway, Bus Éireann’s premium coach service, has announced the addition of six wheelchair-accessible bus stops to Route 30/X30 from Tuesday, July 4.
Route 30/X30 serves Dublin to Donegal including locations such as Dublin Airport and Cavan. The six accessible stops are located at Dublin (Busáras), Dublin Airport, Cavan, Virginia, Enniskillen and Ballyshannon.
“We are excited to launch this facility and customers can book from 9am Monday, June 3,” said Andrew Yates, head of Expressway.
“Bookings can be made online at expressway.ie or over the phone on 0818 836 611, up to 24 hours in advance of departure. We look forward to developing and implementing more accessible services across Expressway routes later this year.”
Bus Éireann says it is committed to the provision of a fully accessible public transport system incorporating wheelchair-accessible vehicles and infrastructure.
