A busy link road between Derry and Donegal has been closed due to a road traffic accident.
The Letterkenny Road from Derry city has been closed to traffic from both directions.
A collision took place near the Nixon’s Corner area. The Letterkenny Road joins the city to the borders at Killea and Molenan.
Diversions are in place at the Lone Moor Road junction.
“There is no through traffic,” the PSNI said.
“The Brae Head Rd is currently only open for city bound traffic.
“Those going country bound should use the Lone Moor Road, Blighs Lane through Creggan and onto Killea Road, avoiding Brea Head Road.”
