There's a couple of men who were involved with Downings GAA club this evening that won't be there next week.

Eric Roberts, who lines out for the seaside club, and coach Shaun Paul Barrett are both on their way to the Fifa Women's World Cup in Australia. Their side went down 1-14 to 1-10 to MacCumhaill's in Division 1 of the All-County Football League in Ballybofey, but they ended up on a high.

Eric, a famed Tiktoker, is heading to Sydney as part of the JS Sports team next week, while Shaun Paul is going Down Under to see his daughter Amber in action for the Girls in Green.

After the match, Eric and the Downings panel presented Shaun Paul with an Ireland jersey, which was sponsored by Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure, as a thank you for his contribution. Click play below to watch Eric's Instagram video:

Amber Barrett from Milford and Letterkenny's Ciara Grant are part of the Ireland squad who open their World Cup campaign against co-hosts Australia in Sydney next Thursday.
