Kevin and Rosie Meehan, with their sons Odhran, Jamie, Jack and Conor in Mountcharles last week, where there was a special homecoming to acknowledge Jamie’s success in winning the gold medal in the men’s U-23 race at the National Road Cycling Championships in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, last month.

The weather wasn’t the kindest but that didn’t detract from a great crowd attending the Shamrock Inn in a show of great community spirit. Mark Dorrian and local councillor Noel Jordan helped organise and facilitate the event.
