Weather alert issued for Donegal as Met Eireann warns of risk of flooding

Met Eireann is warning that further spells of heavy rain will bring potential for localised flooding.

The forecaster issued a status yellow rain warning for Donegal, as well as Cavan, Monaghan, Dublin, Kildare, Longford, Louth, Meath, Westmeath, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo.

The alert is valid from 6pm on Saturday until 11am on Sunday.
