A total of €4,980 was raised in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation in Roddy’s Bar, Glenties recently. The main attraction at the event was the legendary darts player Raymond van Barneveld. The five-time darts champion met people who attended the event and twenty aspiring darts champions competed against him during the course of the night. The night proved a very popular event.
A fantastic night was had by all and two amateur darts players fared very well on the night.
The money was raised through sponsorship from local businesses and a raffle which was also held on the night. Those at Roddy’s Bar would like to thank all those who sponsored the event and who helped out in the lead-up to the event, those who helped on the night and all his staff.
