Donegal artist Marina Hamilton has joined up with country music star Roly Daniels for an art exhibition.
The Turf and Surf exhibition was launched on Friday at the Rosapenna Golf Pavilion in Downings.
Painter and sculptor Marina first met Roly at the RDS where St Johnston-based artist Marina was exhibiting at the time. Marina’s work can be viewed at www.thebluehorsegallery.com
This is a first art exhibition for Roly, who has a strong pull to Downings, where his wife Sarah hails from.
Hughie McClafferty, Louis Boyce, Enda McClafferty and Charlie McClafferty.
The two also had a connection Roly’s brother-in-law Terry Casey, who trained the 1996 Grand National winner Rough Quest.
Marina, whose husband Enda is political editor of BBC Northern Ireland, says Roly has a ‘great eye for colour and detail’ and the exhibition runs until this Sunday, August 6.
