Comedian Ardal O’Hanlon was at Finner Camp on Thursday as part of an upcoming TV series.

The Father Ted star, who shot to fame for his portrayal of Fr Dougal McGuire, spent some time at Finner with his crew.

O’Hanlon interviewed Fr Jerry Carroll, the chaplain of the 28th Infantry Battalion, who are headquartered at Finner.

O’Hanlon was pictured with soldiers after having tea in the NCO’s mess.

“We look forward to seeing the results,” the 28th Infantry Battalion said on Instagram.

A couple of weeks ago, O’Hanlon was also in Donegal and visited Arranmore island.
