New book provides an insight into the history of Frosses and local townlands and how the Harley family has impacted the local area over the past 300 years

Frosses to be featured in new history book to be launched tonight

Frosses local historian and genealogist Jason Harley will be launching his book Harley of Drimard - A History this evening, Saturday, August 5 in Frosses Hall starting at 7pm.


The book will outline the Harley family of Drimard family history from the 1750s to the current times. 

It also gives an insight into the history of Frosses and local townlands and how the Harley family has impacted the local area over the past 300 years.


Jason would like to invite anyone locally who is interested in local history to attend. The book will be launched by another noted local historian and author, Mrs Helen Meehan and copies of the book will be signed by Jason on the night.


The launch will be followed by a night of music and entertainment in the hall and Bonnyglen Bar and Guest House!
