A new crèche is to be developed in Letterkenny.
Donegal County Council has given the green light to the development at Pearse Road.
An existing commercial unit at Unit 2, Railway Court will be changed into a childcare facility. The new development will also include a staff office and a canteen area with ancillary works to be carried out at ground floor level.
Planning permission was granted to LMNO Childcare Ltd for the development.

The development in Letterkenny is subject to eight conditions laid down by Donegal County Council.
The local authority has directed that no vehicles associated with the new facility will be allowed to park on or along the public road.
Drop-offs to the new crèche will only be permitted from the public car park at the rear of the facility and the opening hours of the premises will be confined to 7.30am-6pm from Monday-Friday.
Among the other conditions are that the developer take steps to make sure that no public road water discharges onto the site and, similarly, no surface water from the site will be permitted to discharge onto the public road.
