A 72-year-old man has appeared in court charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

Charlie Lynagh appeared at Letterkenny District Court.

The court was told Lynagh of Tirloughan, Carrigart was arrested by Gardai on July 27, 2023 at Croaghross, Portsalon.

His solicitor, Mr Patsy Gallagher, asked for the case to be adjourned until September 20th next.

Mr Gallagher said his client was due in court on that date for a more ‘substantive matter’.

Judge Deirdre Gearty agreed and adjourned the case until the Falcarragh sitting of the court on September 20 next.
