Renowned Dublin musician, Catriona Grimes is set to perform on Friday August 18, at St Conal’s Chapel, Doochary Village for a concert.

The proceeds of the evening will go towards the upkeep of Doochary’s St Conal’s Chapel.

The Concert begins at 7:30 and ends at 8:30pm. Tickets can be purchased through committee members, at local shops or at the door on the evening.

Catriona has just returned from concerts in Italy and Switzerland. Her family are originally from Doochary Village and she has a great love for the village and the county as seen on her own facebook page, where she often posts performances at her family’s Doochary-based Cottage. She is a virtuoso on the piano and plays the violin and tin whistle.

Following the concert a wine reception will be held at the Corkscrew Pub. The local committee would like to thank the family for their ongoing support of the village.

All are welcome to attend the evening where Catriona will be releasing her new album. She has launched a few albums to date among which are Sona, Suaimhneas and Aingeal. For more information follow Doochary Developments Facebook page or contact committee members.
