Work is expected to commence in relation to road surfacing on on the R245 Carriagart Road on Monday. Independent Councillor Michael McClafferty said the work will involve resurfacing a section of road from the N56 / R245 Junction in Creeslough towards the Lackagh Bridge direction.
"It is envisaged that the project will take 2 days to complete. Traffic control will be in operation via STOP/GO for the duration of the works. However motorists both on the R245 Carriagart Road and the N56 at the Carrigart Road Junction can expect some delays as a result of the works," he said.
He added that road surfacing is expected to commence on the R257 Glasserchoo Road on Wednesday. "It is envisaged that the project will take 2 days to complete. Please be advised that the road in question will be blocked to vehicular traffic during the works and diversion routes will be adequately signed," he said.
