The scene of the incident in Donegal Town on Wednesday evening
A road traffic incident on the Diamond in Donegal Town has led to a number of people being hospitalised and to roads in the town centre being closed.
The incident is understood to have occurred in the vicinity of the Tyrconnell Street / Bridge Street / Diamond junction on Wednesday evening, and to involve a vehicle and people who were in an outdoor seating area.
Emergency services are at the scene.
People are asked to avoid the area.
