It has been reported that a substantial amount of hay has been spilt on the Bundoran bypass heading in the Ballyshannon direction after the Church Road Junction.
Local businessman and former town councillor Diarmaid Doherty said that the situation was "very dangerous for motorbikes or cyclists".
The bypass is the first main access point into the county from the south.
The good weather of late, has meant that extra cuts of grass, have been taking place across the county. Temperatures in the county are expected to reach at least the mid to high twenties.
