Two Donegal schools represent Ireland at the European Youth Enterprise competition

Mulroy College Milford and St Catherine's Vocational School Killybegs students travel to Kitzbuhel in Austria to represent Ireland in the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) European finals this weekend.

Last year the Mulroy College team won the National Award for Social Enterprise with the business 'L&M Books'. The team designed, created and produced a book for children highlighting hidden disabilities. Students involved are Millie McCourt, Lucy Van Ruiven and Livvy Curran.

St Catherine’s Vocational School team this year won the overall Entrepreneur of the Year in the Business Category with their business 'Simply Soap'.

The young entrepreneurs make beautiful authentic handmade soap using a goat milk base which is rich in Vitamin E and highly moisturising. Soaps are available in lavender, lemongrass, vanilla and poppyseed, ocean breeze, citrus mist and plain and simple. The target market is the huge cruise liners who dock in their beautifully quaint fishing town. Students involved are Aimee Hegarty, Abbie Boyle and Aoife Smith.
