Onóir have been delighting audiences since they stormed onto the live circuit over the last year, with demand for tickets far exceeding supply.
But even by their ususal standards, sale of tickets for their Christmas Special concert in Ballyshannon has been lightning fast. Tickets for the concert in the Abbey Arts Centre on December 23 went on sale on Thursday morning and sold out only five minutes later.
A spokesperson for the group took to social media to say: "Holy Smokes! That just sold out in 5 minutes!!!!!!! That’s a new record for Onóir.
"Thank you all so much."
The band are keen to ensure that their dedicated fans are not disappointed. They are encouraging people to let them know via comments on their Facebook page if they would like to see another night added.
"We will try our best to make it happen!" the spokesperson said.
