Urgent appeal as defibrillator missing from Portsalon Golf Club

Portsalon Golf Club members take receipt of the defibrillator in 2018.

An urgent appeal has been issued as a defibrillator has gone missing from Portsalon Golf Club.

The vital piece of life saving equipment was noticed absent by an eagle-eyed member on Saturday.

Officials at the club say someone may have taken the defibrillator in a panic and simply forgot to return it.

“If you have it, please return this vital piece of life saving equipment,” said a notice.

The defibrillator was installed in the mini clubhouse on the 9th green in 2018, allowing it to be accessed quickly in the event of an emergency.
