Letterkenny Lions Club recently held a quiz in Letterkenny Golf Club with quizmaster Hugh McClafferty.
“We are delighted to announce that €1000 was raised for Childhood Cancer,” they said. “Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored prizes and bought raffle prizes."
In association with Dunnes Stores nationwide, Letterkenny Lions Club is holding its annual Christmas Food Appeal on Friday December 1 and Saturday 2 at both old and new Dunnes Stores.
“We are looking for customers to donate an extra item or two to their shopping trolley – such as non- perishable goods, hygiene products, treats for children and families etc,” they said. “Any cash donation would be gladly accepted. All goods and money received will be distributed to organisations in Letterkenny such as Cara House, We Care Food bank and Donegal Women’s Refuge. Thank you in advance.”
