In pictures: Style to beat the band as stars flock for Noel Cunningham's 70th

It was a typical Wild Atlantic Way hooley at Harvey’s Point when Donegal Man of the Year and Television and Radio Personality celebrated his 70th Birthday.

Noel Cunningham, who doesn’t do things by half was joined by 300 guests for a gala dinner and superb entertainment from The Donegal Tenors. Vladimir Jablokov and The Minor Tones entertained guests from all over Ireland and abroad. Please click on the arrows to go through the gallery

Family and friends including many from the world of showbiz - former President Mary McAleese and her husband Martin; The British Ambassador to Ireland  Paul Johnston and his wife Nicola; Pat The Cope Gallagher and his wife Anne; Mandy and Ger Maher' Chef Brian Mc Dermott and his wife Brenda;  Mary Kennedy, Grainne Seoige and Leon Jordan, Marty and Maria Whelan, Alan Hughes, Norma Smurfit, Jacky Lavin and Bill Cullen, Richard Curran and Kathy Donagh to name but a few sang and danced into the wee hours. Messages from Daniel O’Donnell who is on tour and Neven Maguire who is on a New York trip joined the good wishes with Daithi O’Shea by video link. Noel is currently a fixture on The Today Show in the afternoon on RTE1 Tv. Noel will remain as an Ambassador for his beloved Harvey’s Point.
